We are a diverse mix of marine biologists, conservation diver trainers, PADI instructors, Coral Catch Superwomen and Reef Check trainers. With 80% of our team locally employed and over a decade of experience in these waters, every course is guided by people deeply connected to this place.

The Team
Jane is from Cornwall, England, where growing up on the beach shaped a connection to the ocean. After discovering scuba diving and coral restoration on surf trips around the world, she became a PADI Instructor and spent 18 months on a remote island off Borneo living in a tent while restoring reefs and supporting turtle conservation.
She holds a degree in Natural Sciences from Durham University and brings over six years of professional experience from JP Morgan Chase. Today, she combines field expertise with her corporate background to help marine conservation projects build long term sustainability.
Kinah is a marine conservation educator from Bogor with a Bachelor’s in Marine Science from Diponegoro University and a PADI Instructor. She joined Coral Catch as a scholarship participant in 2022, then worked on a liveaboard where she helped guests dive more responsibly. In 2024, she returned to Coral Catch and Gili Shark Conservation as part of the team to focus full-time on ocean conservation and educating the next Superwomen. Now, in Gili Conservation Dive Center, she is responsible for coordinating and executing our educational programs.
Tania is a Marine Science graduate focused on marine ecology and conservation, with field experience in elasmobranch research on one of Indonesia’s most remote islands. After joining Coral Catch, she strengthened her confidence and field skills in diving and is now a Shark Conservation Lead, working on a shark conservation project that combines ecological research with community engagement.
Farhan is a marine science graduate who fell into the diving world after his first dive in 2018, an experience that reshaped how he saw the ocean. After graduating in 2023, he began working in marine conservation in West Lombok, contributing to Marine Protected Area rezoning efforts.He later moved into hands-on fieldwork, supporting coral and mangrove restoration, seagrass surveys, and megafauna monitoring. Now part of the Gili Conservation Dive Center team, he leads coral restoration while staying actively involved in day-to-day field activities.
Gracie’s connection to the ocean began with childhood beach trips to the North Carolina coast. After discovering scuba diving, she shifted her career into climate and conservation, eventually working as a PADI Instructor in Indonesia and Malaysian Borneo.She holds a degree in Business and Human Health and brings professional experience from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she managed a global decarbonization program. Today, she combines her background in project management and stakeholder engagement with her field expertise to help marine conservation programs build long-term, systemic impact.
