Dive Against Debris Specialty Course

Turn every dive into an opportunity to make a real difference. During the Dive Against Debris® Specialty, you’ll activate your inner citizen scientist and learn how underwater clean-ups contribute to healthier dive sites and global marine research.

Under the guidance of your instructor, you’ll take part in a Dive Against Debris survey, learning how to safely collect, record, and report marine debris. All data gathered is submitted to a global database that helps scientists better understand the scale and impact of ocean pollution.
